INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE HYDROFLUSH

Patent Pending
1. Installing the Control Arm
The Control Arm of the HydroFlush is made to be replaceable.  It contains all the working parts of the HydroFlush.  It is connected to the unit with a quick disconnect as shown below.
2. Water Hookup
The HydroFlush should be hooked up to a water source of AAMI quality water that can supply 1.0 gallon of water per minute, with the supplied hose.  The hose connects to the HydroFlush with a quick disconnect as shown.
3. Drain Hookup
Hookup the supplied drain hose of the HydroFlush as shown below and run it to a floor drain.
4. Mixing of bleach solution.
Mix the bleach in the supplied container. Place 200ml of bleach in the container bottom black line of container) then add 600ml of AAMI quality water (top black line of container).
5. Disinfecting Bicarbonate containers
Make sure valve on the control arm is pointing to the OFF position then turn on the water source for the HydroFlush. Place the bicarbonate containers on the spray nozzles making sure nozzles go inside the bicarbonate containers.

Move the valve on the control arm to the DISINFECT position. The HydroFlush will start pulling in the bleach solution mixing it with the incoming water and then spraying it inside the bicarbonate containers. Let the HydroFlush spray the bleach solution for at least one minute then turn the control valve back to the OFF position. Test bicarbonate containers for a positive indicator of bleach. Let the bleach solution sit in the bicarbonate containers for at least one minute.
6. Rinsing of the bicarbonate containers
Move the control valve to the RINSE position. This will bypass the bleach and spray the AAMI quality water into the bicarbonate containers rinsing out the bleach solution. Allow the bicarbonate containers to rinse at least two minutes then turn the control valve back to the OFF position. Using a test for chlorine, test each container for negative bleach. If you get a positive result drain as much water as you can out of the bicarbonate containers and then continue to rinse them on the HydroFlush as stated above. When results are negative remove bicarbonate containers from the Hydroflush and store them in an inverted position to air dry.
7. Storing the Hydroflush Unit
When unit is not in use it is recommended to have the water supply turned off to the unit and any remaining bleach solution should be emptied from the container.
